Paint Nite – April 7 2018
Thank you for joining us as we raised glasses and funds! $15 of every ticket sold was donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Cowichan Valley. To date, Paint Nite has helped raise over $3.5 million for those in need with lively creative events that feel more fun than philanthropic. PaintNite artist Mario guided us through two hours of painting, drinking, and laughing ‘til our cheeks hurt. The best part? You did not have to be an artist to have an amazing time.
Date: Saturday April 7th 2018 7:00-9:00pm
Place: Chances Cowichan – 436 Cowichan Way, Duncan, BC
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Cowichan Valley facilitates life-changing relationships that inspire and empower children and youth to reach their potential, both as individuals and citizens. You are supporting a relationship between a child and a mentor. Volunteer mentors serve as role models; teach by example the importance of giving and giving back, staying in school and having respect for family, peers and community. Our mentoring programs provide children with a role model and a friend to talk to and share experiences of growing up with. We offer a wide range of mentoring opportunities: one-to-one matches, in-school mentoring, and 7-week group mentoring programs. Volunteering for only one hour a week can change the course of a kid’s life.
“Fifty years from now it will not matter what kind of car you drove, what kind of house you lived in, or how much money you had. But the world may be a little better because you were important in the life of a child.”
