WHAT IS Festival of Wreaths?

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Cowichan Valley is hosting the Festival of Wreaths and inviting local businesses, community members and Not for Profits to participate in the festivities. When you register with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Cowichan Valley, ($10 or $20 wreath fee) you will receive a wreath to decorate and donate back to our online Facebook auction.

Click here to download a registration form. Alternatively, call Big Brothers Big Sisters 250-748-2447 or email erin.generous@bigbrothersbigsisters.ca and a registration form will be sent to you. Complete and return your registration form including the wreath fee for either of the following categories: Corporate/Community, or Not-for-Profit.  Once registered we’ll drop off a wreath and your elves can get busy with decorating and fundraising.

What’s an example of a donated wreath?

Decorate your wreath (be creative!). Businesses are required to have a minimum donation of $50+ of merchandise or gift cards. We ask that all wreaths are decorated by Nov 30^th, provide a picture and listing details for us to share on Facebook. Businesses will display their wreath for customers & bidders to see during the auction period and we’ll also have our Big Brothers Big Sisters agency elves promote your wreath & business during this time.

Sprinkles on the Season – WE love to light up your life with yummy goodness and sharing our love during the Christmas season is even better. Gorgeous sparkles, and a yummy $100 Gift Card to the Inside!

Value $225 (Total of Gift Card, Wreath and Decorations).

Festival of Wreaths Time Lines:   

o Open registration November 12th -November 30th

o Wreath must be decorated, and photo submitted to BBBSCV by November 30th.

o December 3rd Online auction goes live.

o December 8th and 9th Big Brothers Big Sisters picks up wreath or they can be dropped off at our office

o December 9th Online auction closes 5:00pm

o December 10th Winning bidders pick up wreaths for the holidays!

During the Festival of Wreaths Big Brothers Big Sisters will promote businesses on all our social media sites. If you would like us to tag you please provide your social media handles on your registration form. Help us spread good cheer, share our posts or create your own!
