WHAT IS BOWL FOR KIDS SAKE?

This fundraising event is about YOU having fun while helping local children. The funds you raise go directly towards matching at-risk children with caring Big Brothers and Big Sisters. Your participation ensures children have a positive role model, making a difference in their lives.

WHERE & WHEN?

The 2019 Bowl For Kids Sake Fundraiser, takes place on Sunday March 3rd at the Duncan Lanes bowling alley on James Street.

Start times are either 12:30pm or 3:00pm; Please arrive 15 minutes ahead for registration and to hand in pledge sheets.

WHAT’S FIRST?

STEP 1:

Recruit a team of 6 bowlers. Ask friends & family or make a workplace team. Assign a team captain.

STEP 2:

Complete your team registration form and submit to the Big Brothers Big Sisters office. Email to erin.generous@bigbrothersbigsisters.ca or fax to 250-748-2445.

Team Captains must have the following information:

• The PIN that your team wants to bowl: 5 pin or 10 pin
• The TIME you team wants to play: 12:30-2:30pm or 3:00-5:00pm
• Enter the names of bowling team members; if unknown at the time of registration, they can be emailed to the Big Brothers Big Sisters office later.

STEP 3:

Fundraise! Ask for pledges, hold a bottle drive or bake sale. Each team of 6 is required to raise a minimum of $300 (or $50 per team member)

STEP 4:

Bowl For Kids! Join your fellow teams on March 3rd. There will be prizes, raffles, and 50/50 draws.
